HISTORY

By the early 2000’s most automotive manufacturers had established brand websites. With eBay going public in 1998 and Google following suit in 2004, dealers were suddenly forced to become experts in an industry that didn’t even exist yet- digital sales. Within a decade the new precedent was set. Retail automotive would be forever changed.

When automotive OEM’s first established themselves digitally, two young men saw an opportunity to help local dealers transition. Those men were Halsey Cory and Matt White. Immediately they began working to list inventory on eBay, and Carsignment was born. Dealers were able to maintain their business with these new opportunities from online retail. As the digital marketing industry formed, Matt and Halsey continued to grow dealer success throughout the transition, from inventory merchandising to listings and lead generation to sales ads and vendor strategies. 

In 2009 they were able to partner with HomeNet Automotive for inventory housing,  and by 2012 they had found their first advertising partner in Showroom Logic. After SHowroom Logic was purchased by PureCars in 2017, Carsignment was able to elevate their services and offer industry-leading technology for dealer clients.

As digital trends evolve, Carsignment continues to maintain dealer growth with adaptive services. Our vendor partnerships allow us to provide cutting-edge products with national brand 

We have also evolved our team to include experts from dealer group management, digital retail and technology, business development, dealer auctions, sales marketing, content creation, digital merchandising, and more.
